1. any是一个限定词，常用于表示模糊的，不确定的数量或数字，适合用于不强调how many/much的表达时，常以问句或否定句的形式出现；
2. any属于复合词，常与其他单词搭配成一个词，如anybody, anything, anyhow, anywhere等，有时候要把any和其搭配的词分开来写，如any way，不习惯用anyway来表达；
3. any，not any，和no的比较：any本身没有否定的意思，只有在和not连用时，才表示否定。no和not any意思相同，但是表达的程度更深。

   She's unhappy because she hasn't got any friends.

   She's got no friends.

4. 注意否定句中，any和every的意思，有时意思不同。有时候意思相同。

   I do not know any (one) of them.
   我对他们一个也不认识。

   I do not know every one of them.
   我对他们不是个个都认识。

   I do not care to know any (one) of them.
