The role of intrahippocampal adrenergic terminals in the acquisition and maintenance of shuttle-box conditioned avoidance behavior was investigated with dorsal hippocampal injection of 6-hydroxy-dopamine(6-OHDA) to injure the noradrenergic fibers.
