The fo1lowing three aspectsare discussed in this paper:(1)the definition of virtual library; (2)the form of virtual library and its relation to electronic library,digital library and hybrid library (3)the signiEcant to analyze virtual library concept.

• 本文首先对虚拟图书馆的概念进行了界定,然后从虚拟图书馆的形态,虚拟图书馆与电子图书馆、数字图书馆、复合图书馆的关系等角度对虚拟图书馆概念进行了辨析,最后指出了辨析虚拟图书馆概念的意义。
