The first grotto contains statues of Buddha and Bodhisattva in twolayers consist of 18 statues,including Sakyamuni and Maitreya.

• 第一窟佛、菩萨造像分上下两层，共有雕像18尊，有释迦牟尼及弥勒造像。此窟有南诏“天启十一年”（850年）造像题记，距今1100多年。
