From June 1997,anyone intending to undertake asbestos removal must engage registered asbestos consultants,contractors,supervisors and laboratories,and must submit investigation reports and asbestos abatement plans to the EPD,before starting work.

• 自一九九七年六月起，任何人如欲拆卸石棉，必须雇用经注册的石棉顾问、承办商、监管人及化验所。在展开拆卸石棉工程前，又须向环保署提交石棉调查报告及石棉消减计划书。
