By the methods of enzyme immuno-assay ( EIA ) and neutralization test ( NT ) , MD orbivirus showed no cross-reaction with BANNA orbivirus isolated from patients with FUO, and two other orbivirus isolates, YN187 and Ml49 isolated from mosquitoes.
